25 Random Things

Rules:
Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. Sorry friends...I'm not going to mess with tagging anyone on this one!

1. I originally thought I wanted to pursue a dream of being an author...and would still love to publish a book someday.
2. I have massacred the right side of my body: breaking my right arm 3 times & my right foot twice. (Arm: first when I was 5, then 10, & then 12. When I was 12 I broke it playing in our 6th grade basketball championship game.)
3. The first two times I broke my arm occurred from falling off a swing (yes...I said two times)!
4. There are three TV shows that I'm hooked on: LOST, The Office, & Chuck.
5. I hung out with Geoff Moore in Beijing, China at the Beijing International Christian Fellowship. (On my semester abroad in the Spring of 2004 called PacRim that went to New Zealand, Australia, China, & ended in Hawaii! I know...rough semester!)
6. I've traveled to every continent except Antarctica.
7. I once buried my cat in the snow thinking I was helping it stay warm. I then went to school forgetting it was there! (Remembered about it later...it was fine...just really cold!)
8. I love sudoku!
9. Personal Goal: to get back into running & beat my top run of 8 miles.
10. I once knocked a kid of his bike by hitting him with a door. (Impressive, huh?)
11. The first vehicle I ever drove was a tractor.
12. When I was little, I thought it would be a good idea to try & ride a cow...it wasn't!
13. When I was 5, I punched a boy in the face and never got in trouble for it. (My mom was in the car when I did it.)
14. If I don't end up overseas somewhere, I've always dreamed of living out West.
15. I didn't get my license until I was 17 (partially because I was scared to drive).
16. Hard as it may be to believe, I love adventure! Someday I'd like to sky dive & bungee jump.
17. I once stood 15 feet away from a herd of wild giraffes on the plains of Africa (not on a safari).
18. I was the sports editor of my high school yearbook my sophomore year.
19. I've gone on the luge down the Great Wall of China.
20. The first time I ever flew & also my first time overseas was on my birthday June 12, 2001...and I went to Huallanca, Peru with an NMC Student Ministries IMPACT Team.
21. I can play the piano (some) but only by ear. I don't read music well!
22. I hate scary movies & refuse to watch them!
23. I've been to Vietnam & visited some of the very places my dad was stationed during the Vietnam War.
24. Action movies are my favorite genre. (Though animated Disney movies are a close second)
25. Growing up, I went to 7 different schools, all in the WaNee School System! (Nappanee High School, Central School, Woodview Elementary, Southside School, Nappanee Elementary, Northwood Middle School, & finally Northwood High School)
