Top 6 Travel Hot Spots of 2006

6. California- I know it seems incomparable with the rest of this list, but I've only ever been in the airport (San Francisco). So I'd like to go sometime & actually spend some time there!

5. Kenya (or anywhere in Africa)- I loved the culture, loved the people, loved the scenery, loved the experience...I would most definitely go back in a heartbeat!!!

4. Thailand/Philippines (it's a tie)- my college "roomie" has been here 3 times now (to Thailand) & she's actually coming home from there in another week and 1/2. Her stories make it sound like an absolutely incredible place. I decided to include the Philippines because the cultures are similar & because it's another place I've always wanted to visit (but I can only pick six...so I'm kinda cheating with a tie). It's my list, I can do what I want!!!

3. England- Mainly I want to go back to London. I got to spend 15 hours there exploring (layover) but there's still so much to see!!

2. Italy- I want to someday visit Rome. I took a spring break trip during college & visited Venice, Verona, & Florence. I'd love to go back to Venice too. It's enchanting...palaces, gandolas, festivals/masquerades!

1. New Zealand- I'm actually kind of surprised that I made this my number one pick. But New Zealand has a little bit of everything. Surfing the coast, snorkeling in the Bay of Islands, treking through the hills...it's absolutely gorgeous, amazing temperature, just all around incredible place!
