Christmas Time: Part 1

For a lot of people, Christmas time means decorations, family, & traditions. Some start the day after Thanksgiving, picking out the perfect tree, getting all the decorations out, putting on some Christmas music, & then ending the day watching A Christmas Carol, It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, or A Christmas Story...or maybe even all four!!!

I love decorating for Christmas! I'm not sure what exactly it is about it...but I really enjoy it! That said, I love simplicity when it comes to decorating. I'm not one to pull out every ornament in the house & find a place for it on the tree. I'm not one to pull out every string of lights in the house (regardless of the color) & wrap them around any available window, door, tree, porch rail, or whatever else. I'm not one to buy those big blow-up decorations of Santa Clause, Reindeer, a Snowman, or if you're really lucky...all three in one big snow globe! It's just not me.

I do, however, recognize that's not the case with every single person out there...
